About the Artist
I am very fortunate to have been classically trained at the Stevenson Academy of Traditional Painting. The founder, Harold Stevenson , was protégé and friend of Norman Rockwell. In addition, I also studied with Marla Korr , Robert Armetta and Dave Peikon.
My award winning paintings are privately collected and widely exhibited. My work has been shown at The National Gallery in New York NY, Museum of Arts and Sciences in Daytona FL, Coos History Museum in Coos Bay Oregon, Federal Hall National Memorial in New York NY, Salmagundi Art Club in New York NY, Houston Maritime Museum in Houston TX, Custom House Maritime Museum in Newburyport MA, Guild Hall in East Hampton NY, The Water Mill Museum in Water Mill NY, Channel Islands Maritime Museum in Oxnard CA, Mistretta Gallery in Locust Valley NY, Southampton Cultural Center in Southampton NY, The Main Street Petite Gallery in Huntington NY, The Art-trium in Melville NY, Creative Arts in Sea Cliff NY , Glenwood Arts in Glenwood NY , Art & Soul Gallery in Eastport NY, Wolffer Vineyards in Sagaponack NY and The East End Classic Boat Society in Amagansett NY.
I am a US Coast Guard artist and those works can be seen at the Salmagundi Art Club and Federal Hall Museum each summer. I have exhibited in a number of juried Landscape and Portrait shows, including "The Catharine Lorillard Wolfe National Exhibition" .
I am most grateful and proud to be an artist for our US Coast Guard, where I've joined the ranks of artists past, to assist in documenting their history through paintings.
